Since 1978, PSEA has been the premier labor representative for Alaska’s finest public employees. PSEA proudly represents approximately 800 state and municipal police employees, from the tip of Alaska’s panhandle to its North Slope. Our membership is made up of sworn and unsworn police employees including Alaska State Troopers located all over Alaska, Airport Police and Fire officers in Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska’s Deputy Fire Marshalls, Court Service Officers protecting Alaska’s courthouses, and municipal police department employees in Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Soldotna, Unalaska, and Dillingham.

In brotherhood and sisterhood, the PSEA mission is to give the best workplace representation to our members, who protect and serve all the citizens of the great state of Alaska. Our hope is that the PSEA Local 803 website will assist PSEA in meeting our mission. This website provides information about what PSEA is doing for its members, PSEA’s leadership, updates on workplace issues and on PSEA’s activities, and programs that benefit our membership and the public.
